Doctors Dawn and Michael Falite

Dr. Dawn Falite, was born in Canandaigua, New York.  She spent her youth in Orlando, FL and Gainesville, GA. She found her niche as an honors student, cheerleader, and musician. She played the harp with several symphony orchestras as well as playing professionally for weddings and parties. This led her to receive a music scholarship to the University of Florida.

Dr. Michael Falite was born and raised in Billerica, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston. The youngest of five children, he excelled in athletics at an early age. He set multiple local and state records on the football field during high school. He then attended Holy Cross College on a full football scholarship, where he was a four-year letterman for the nationally ranked championship Crusader teams.

The two met while at Life University in Marietta, GA, the largest and most prestigious chiropractic college in the world. They both had numerous accomplishments while at Life. Dr. Dawn was involved in several technique clubs, philosophy groups, and cheerleading. She became one of the few students to be certified in two separate areas (adjusting and X-ray). She assisted multiple students in fulfilling their academic and clinical requirements. As a senior level student, she became the office manager for a chiropractic office in Marietta.

Dr. Michael was able to earn a paid teaching position at Life while a student. This position, a highly elite one earned by less than 1% of all students, allowed Dr. Michael the opportunity to supervise and help other students during their clinical training. He personally assisted with some of the most complicated cases in the Southeast. Both the doctors finished their clinical requirements in half the time allotted. They dated all through school and were married in June 1995, three months after graduating with honors. They have chosen to give back to their alma mater and their profession and have been awarded a position in the President's Circle at Life University. They continue to speak at the school and offer assistance to future chiropractors.

The two decided to stay in the metro area (Dr. Dawn refused to move to the cold Northeast,) and they chose Alpharetta because of its family atmosphere. Falite Family Chiropractic opened to serve in May 1996 and has been growing ever since.

In July of 2000, Dr. Dawn gave birth to Grant Falite. He was delivered in a planned home birth and received his first chiropractic adjustment less than an hour later.  In his free time, Grant enjoys karate, reading, riding his bike, playing outside, playing the drums, and swimming.

In November of 2004, the Falites were again blessed by the birth of a child. Ava Falite was born at home on a beautiful, sunny fall day. Daddy caught her and big brother, Grant, cut the cord. She is a sweetheart and enjoys karate, swim team, going to school, reading stories, playing the guitar, and playing with Sugar, the family dog!

Krista Taheri (Chiropractic Assistant) is originally from Illinois and moved to Johns Creek in 2007.  Married for over 20 years, Krista is the proud mom of two boys - one a student at UGA, the other at Johns Creek High School. 

As a Chiropractic Assistant, Krista is constantly learning about the wonderful health benefits of the adjustment.  One of the best benefits to being a part of Team Falite is receiving regular adjustments herself!  She truly enjoys helping the great people that come in for care and seeing first-hand the positive impact chiropractic has on their lives.  She is excited to welcome you to our chiropractic family!

Miera Robin Gans (Licensed Massage Therapist) began practicing healing modalities in 1980 as an Occupational Therapist specializing in head trauma and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. In 1984 she attended the American School of Massage. She has since specialized in medical massage therapies as well as relaxation skills and energy balancing techniques. Miera has worked with chiropractors, psychologists and nutritionist in the metro Atlanta area for the past 27 years. In conjunction with her medical background, Miera’s main passion in life is her personal and spiritual evolution ~ where she has learned to value the divine essence within and has been a source of comfort and inspiration to many people who are looking to live a more authentic, passionate and fulfilling life.

Miera's personal life includes parenting two teenage daughters, teaching bellydance classes to enhance a person’s relationship with Source, creating art, chanting and going camping by the beach.

She looks forward to working together to create an internal harmony to nourish your body and soul!
